Down She Goes!

How do I explain what is going on with me? Hum…

Bad.

Haha!

If you have me on facebook or instagram you already know but I messed up my ankle on a day that my sister and her husband came to visit. It was a scary experience. I didn’t just step in some hole and sprain my ankle. There was nothing there! We were getting breakfast burritos and on the way out I felt like I stepped off a incline or a step but there was none. I came crashing down because my right ankle just turned in way that they are not suppose to turn. Apparently, on the way day, I fell on my left knee but didn’t feel that pain until way later. When I was down on the ground I felt really bad, pouring sweat, getting nauseated, loud ringing in my ear and then, as I was telling my sister, I think I’m gonna… I blacked out. My sister said my eyes were still open but I was not responded at all.

Serious Side Effects Put Me MIA

Hello? Anyone out there? haha.

I can’t believe I haven’t posted anything in so long… I mean I have never been good at making many posts but I use to do one at least once a month.

Honestly, I went through a dark period.  I have gotten depressed before but I’m not clinically depressed so usually I would get depressed for a day or two due to having lots of pain that day or maybe just being worn out from the pain. However, this was going on for waaayyy to long. Plus, I’m resilient… pain sucks but if I still can function I will push through it to do the things I like so I knew this was not normal.

One day I did something with a 20 dollar bill and I couldn’t, for the life of me, remember what. I tried hard to remember, but the things I could think of didn’t seem very realistic. It was more like a dream feeling… did that really happen? That scared me!

Then it dawned on me… the lyrica!

So yeah, once I lowered the dose of the lyrica I started to feel better. The lyrica was making me want to do nothing but sleep and eat so I’m really not happy with my weight right now.

The sad thing is it didn’t stop my pain. I actually ended up with a horrible flare that went on for three weeks.
