21-Day Tummy Part 1 (The Start)

mBookGot a new WordPress theme, it’s another girly one. I’m really stuck on that kind of thing lately. Anyway, so on my last post I mentioned I ordered a book called 21-Day Tummy and how I was going to attempt the diet to help my stomach problems and possibly even lose a few pounds. My book finally came in, along with a recipe book for even more things to make once I finish the 21 Days.

I’ve read through most of the book already. I sped read a lot of it because a big chunk of the book talked about things that I already knew. I only knew these things though because I have suffered with my stomach pains for all my live. If you are someone who hasn’t been to a bunch of doctors and haven’t really thought much about why you my be bloated one day and not the other, well this book could be very informative.

They go on to talk about what they call Belly Bullies and Belly Buddies. They list all sorts of foods, here are a few examples of some Belly Bullies.
Bagels, Bread (even whole grain), Crackers, Pasta, White Rice,  Corn Oil, Candy, Pizza, Processed Meat, Milk, Sweetners, Many Cheeses, Regular Yogurt, Watermelon, Barley, Wheat, Garlic, Onions, Black Beans, Pistachios, Apples, Cottage Cheese, Cherries, Plums, and Gum

Some of those really surprised me because most of those foods seem like they would be healthy for you. I like fruit so apples and cherries being on the list was a bit of a bummer. Then I’m addicted to Gum but that one doesn’t surprise me because I knew that one could cause gas because you are sucking in air while chewing it.
