Time for Thanks

Halloween is over so we are to now give thanks for Thanksgiving. 🙂

First, I’m very thankful for the fact that my grandfather made it through his horrible ordeal with being sick and in the hospital for over 2 weeks. He is doing much better now, he is back to walking on his own and doing little things here and there. Slowly gaining as much strength as an 80+ year old man can after that ordeal.

Before I get more into the blog post I just want to say that I have been reading people’s blog posts, but for some reason I was unable to make a comment on them. I’m not sure if it was a wordpress bug or my computer. I ran some scans on my computer to be sure, but didn’t find anything. I’m hoping I can comment on them the next time I go around to visit blogs.

I think in my last post I talked about the hand tremor. Well it seems I got some bad weakness or something in my hands, especially in my right hand. Today they have been hurting with random sharps pains, making me not want to hold anything. I keep dropping things like food utensils, pens, my hair brush and more. I was use to dropping small things, it was annoying but I sort of put it off to not paying much attention and letting them slip. The other day I was carrying around my camera. I hold that thing as if it was my baby. I felt that I had it in my right hand with a firm grip but before I knew it was was watching it fall to the ground. I was in shock. I got lucky that it didn’t break or get scratched since I was on soft dirt but that was an awful feeling. That means I need to wear that strap from now on.

Two more months until I see that Rheumatologist. I hope he can figure something out.

I can’t wait until I can get some time off from work. I think I have been run dry. I’m actually starting to dread going to work, I don’t even dislike the work. I’m just that tired. I haven’t had a day off since April and I have been working so much over time due to losing my co-worker and our go-live to the new system. Once they hire someone knew and they are comfortable enough in the job I gotta put in for some much needed time off or I’m gonna go nuts.

Oh yeah, I’m not sure if I mentioned this before – if I did then oopppss sorry for the repeat – I went to our San Angelo Comic Con. I didn’t think I would get the chance to go but I made it to see Johnny Yong Bosch. He is one of my favorite voice actors in the anime world. He played Lelouch from Code Geass, Izaya from Durarara, Ichigo from Bleach, Renton from Eureka Seven, Kei from Ajin, and many many others. I got to see his panel, he was pretty funny so I’m glad I got to go. I also got his autograph on a Lelouch poster – Join the Rebellion!

So now I have two autographs, Johnny and Spike Spencer. I hope I can get some more in the future. I’m good at missing out. Ha!

I updated my Cosplay – Future Plans – page. I know there were things on the last one that I didn’t remember about. Stupid me, deleted it before I copied it down – ha! I did get a list of ones that I really hope I can do. They are simple but they are all characters I love, and most of them at a respectable age for me. I know in cosplay, it doesn’t really matter, but part of the reason I love to cosplay is to find characters I can semi relate too. Not so much in features but in other things. However, there are time I just do it before I love the character. XD

One of the newest ones is Moriko Morioka. She is from the new anime series, Life of an MMo Junkie. I almost didn’t watch this anime and that would have been a HUGE mistake. I just love her! She is a 30 year old neet, playing MMOs, but is not just some loser. I’ve got some good ides on cosplaying her already.

If there is a character you think I should cosplay, let me know. I would like to hear what people have to say. I might not be able to do it, but I can always try.
